Said
Dr. Buhalis: "The success of Destinations
in the future will be determined by their abilities
to utilise a wide range of interactive technologies
to coordinate their offering, interact with
consumers, support Small Businesses, integrate
their entire provision and develop their brand
on-line and off-line. Technology and destination
systems become key strategic tools for destination
operational and strategic management. Marketing
driven technology vision and innovation will
be critical for the competitive destination
of the future".
